We enjoyed a fantastic week at Argoed Barns. The barn conversion was a wonderful place to stay with amazing views. So peaceful and relaxing, just what we needed. Perfectly situated to enjoy all the Brecons have to offer and a beautiful spot to return to each evening. Enjoyed some wonderful meals out nearby at the Griffin and The Castle Inn.

My wife and I went and stayed in the Shepherds Hut which is one of the lovely options offered for staying at Argoed Barns. Can't praise it enough. Relaxing and stunning. Wonderful breakfast cooked by the lovely Amanda and view to die for across the Beacons. Do yourself a favour and go and stay...bliss.

I recently stayed for 3 nights at 'The Dome' which forms part of the Argoed Barns in Brecon. What a fantastic idea! I had been looking for an 'alternative' place to stay which also offered the little luxuries that you generally require after a long day spent clambering the Brecon Beacons hills. The Dome itself lies at the top of a field with beautiful views through the panoramic window across to the distant hills and down into the valley below. It is ideally situated just a short 10 minute drive from Brecon itself and provides easy access to some of the best walking routes in the area. It is fully kitted out with all the essentials and more with a great separate toilet/shower area next door and lovely log fire. I'd highly recommend this to anyone wishing to explore the region who may be looking for something a little different to the norm - I'll certainly be coming back! Amanda (the owner) was fantastic and maintained great communications all the way from the initial booking to making sure we were comfortable during our stay.
